Creed is an American rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1994. Known for their post-grunge sound, they achieved significant commercial success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their albums, "Human Clay" (1999) and "Weathered" (2001), have sold millions of copies worldwide.
The band's core lineup consists of vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips, and bassist Brian Marshall (who left in 2000 and later rejoined). Their hit song "With Arms Wide Open" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy Award.
Creed disbanded in 2004 but reunited in 2009 and again in 2023, continuing to perform and release new music.
